On Thursday, February 8, 2024, the Harn Museum of Art, became a buzzing hub of creativity and cultural exchange. The museum hosted an enchanting evening that intertwined art, dance, film, and music, drawing in a diverse crowd eager to engage with the vibrant offerings. Attendees were treated to an array of hands-on art-making activities, allowing them to tap into their own creative spirits. The cultural connections photobooth was a hit, capturing the smiles and inspired moments of guests as they immersed themselves in the lively atmosphere.
The event, free and open to all, was a testament to the community’s shared love for the arts, co-sponsored by the Center for African Studies. Highlighting the evening was the showcase of talents by esteemed artists Christa Sylla, Aboubacar Soumah, Aboubacar Camara, Kenneth Metzker, and Wester Joseph. Each artist brought their unique flair to the event, creating an unforgettable experience for attendees.
