SASA holds multiple lunchtime seminars each semester and provides a forum for issues of interest to Africanist students and faculty. Past events have included field research updates and conference paper presentations from graduate students, faculty-led professional development seminars, and lectures by visiting scholars. SASA meetings are held Wednesdays at 11:45 in 471 Grinter Hall. For SASA event details, please see the current CAS events calendar.
