The Boren Awards fund long-term study abroad for undergraduate and graduate students from diverse fields of study in the cultures of world regions underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Boren Scholars and Fellows study a wide range of critical languages and commit to working for the U.S. federal government for at least one year upon graduation. UF recently ranked in the Top 5 of Boren Scholarship winners across all colleges in the US!
